The Affinity Bar Burleigh is a boutique bar with nightclub vibes tucked away next to Woolworths in the Big B Arcade that runs between James Street and Park Avenue, completely separate from the mainstream bass heavy venues in the heart of Burleigh. The Affinity Bar has been founded on three core principles: great service, great music and great cocktails. 

Graham and Kathryn, the owners of the Affinity Bar, actually work in the venue and their aim is to make it “your bar”. Upon entry you’ll be personally greeted and made to feel like family by Kathryn. When you’re ready, Graham will shake up something special - always with a personal touch and a friendly smile.

Graham and Kathryn genuinely love their customers and have created a venue where you will be made to feel special and will be proud to bring your friends.

The Affinity Bar plays great music with all the Throwbacks, Hip Hop and RnB classics you know and love all in an environment where you can sit down and still have a conversation - or stand up and dance - the choice is yours. From Whitney Houston to Notorious B.I.G, Bon Jovi to Eminem, Salt-N-Pepa to 50 Cent, Tupac to SZA - we’ve got you covered.

The Affinity Bar has a good selection of beers, wines and spirits, with our pride and joy being our cocktail menu. We have most of the standard traditional cocktails, however it’s our signature cocktails that have all of Burleigh talking. Comprising custom creations such as The Goddess, The Love God, Heartless Bitch/Heartless Bastard, Hopeless Romantic, First Date, Hung Like a Horse, Hen’s Night and Never Loved You Anyway, you’re sure to connect with one of our cocktails no matter what phase of life you’re in.

You can order food from surrounding restaurants such as Italian street food, Mexican or Japanese and have it delivered to your table in the bar. Or you can snack on our Affinity Fast Bites traditional bar food consisting of southern fried chicken tenders, sweet potato chips or potato wedges with sweet chilli and sour cream dipping sauce.  A mini Charcuterie platter is also an option. 

At the Affinity Bar it’s about living life to the fullest and enjoying (or reminiscing and reliving) your magical young years with the feeling of freedom, where anything is possible.
